Pune (Maharashtra), Nov 30 (ANI): Passing Out Parade (POP) for cadets of National Defence Academy, 143rd course was organised on November 30. The Parade was held at Khetrapal Parade Ground of Khadakwasla in Pune. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar reviewed the POP Parade. POP marks the culmination of three long years of training at the academy and was attended by dignitaries. Navy chief said that as the cadets would step out of the arena, they will face a world where threat of traditional war still exists. “As you step out of these hallowed portals, you’ll encounter an amorphous world no longer defined by simple definitions of war and peace, a world in which while threat of traditional war still exists, contestation among various actors has assumed overarching importance. A world in which security scenario is complicated by advent of advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence and autonomous platforms, a world in which you’ll need to negotiate threats beyond the traditional frontiers of land, sea and air to include space, cyberspace and cognitive domains,” said Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar.
