Ashika Rangnath is undoubtedly a multi-faceted actress and has already done 10 films since her debut three years ago. Here are two of the best!

Ashika Rangnath has impressed critics and audiences alike with her acting prowess within a short span of time. The 23-year-old shot to fame in 2016 with her debut movie ‘Crazy Boy’. And since then, she has gone to act in a wide variety of films. Ashika hails from a humble background and didn’t have any filmi connections before venturing into Sandalwood.

This was until she took part in a beauty pageant. Director Mahesh Babu spotted her and immediately knew that she had what it takes to make it big. In just three years since then, the Mugulu Nage actress has completed a whopping 10 projects! Today we would like to do a character comparison of the young actress between two of her roles; Saraswathi and Mayuri from the movies  Thayige Thakka Maga and Raambo 2, respectively.

In both of them, her personalities have been as different as chalk and cheese. This just proves that Ashika’s talents were tested during these movies and she has shone brightly in both of these roles. So, let’s take a look at them…

Thayige Thakka Maga saw Ashika Rangnath in a never-seen-before avatar. She played Saraswathi, a quiet and shy girl who abides by her parents’ wishes and is a musician, too. In our opinion, this was a breath of fresh air for us as well as Ashika because prior to this, she had only portrayed bold and badass characters. Ashika played the love interest of veteran actor Sharan Hruday in Raambo 2. Given that she is a millennial, her character, Mayuri, is a perfectly suited to her because like the film, even in real life, the actress loves surprises. Moreover, her character is a blend of an Indian girl with both traditional and modern values, which according to us, suited the pretty actress perfectly. Watch the thriller-comedy here on ZEE5 to see if you can relate to her character.

Time for you to vote now if you loved Saraswathi more or Mayuri, in the comments box given below of course.
