Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been invited as a speaker at the India International Film Festival that is to be held in Goa in November. This might mark as the first public event that the actress may attend after her divorce

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been constantly in media reports post the news of her divorce with Naga Chaitanya and had to go through many traumatic events in that duration. The actress is once again in the news but this time for a good reason. The Majili actress will be making her first public appearance at a public event post her divorce.  Samantha has been invited as a speaker at the India International Film Festival( IIFF) in Goa, which will take place in the second week of November this year. This is indeed an honour for the actress as she is the first actress from South Indian industry to be invited to speak at this event.

The IIFF is organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals of India that is under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Goa. This year’s 52nd IFFI will witness all the registered delegates and representatives of the selected films during the nine-day film festival in Goa, from November 20 to 28.As per reports IIFF will be held in a hybrid format that is both virtual and physical.

The list of esteemed speakers also includes Aruna Raje, actor John Edathattil, director Vivek Agnihotri, and Manoj Bajpayee among others. Samantha’s  appearance at the film festival can prove as an excellent opportunity for her to get herself recognised more and spread her wings across all the movie industries in India.

Samantha is a well-known name in the South Indian industry and recently she got a lot of positive feedback from Hindi fans and Bollywood celebrities for her role as Raji in The Family Man 2 series. The fans are excited to see her in a Hindi feature film and there are reports that the actress has already finalised the project with which she will make her debut in Bollywood. However, there is no official statement regarding the same yet.

The Jaanu actress announced on Dussehra that she will be a part of a bilingual film that will be directed by Shantaruban Gnanasekharan. Dream Warrior Pictures will produce the film, which is described as a breezy and unusual love story.
