Cricket season has arrived and to complement it, ZEE5’s platform HiPi has started its own HiPi Premiere League (HPL) contest.  Spanning across 53 days, 60 matches and 8 teams, HPL has created a rage among everyone.

Sugandha Mishra, captain of #PunjabKings, turns into a news reporter in her recent video on HiPi. She reported about her alter ego, Rakhi from Karan Arjun, doing the #WarmUpChallenge. Her comic timings and mimicry is on point.

As the head of the team, she tells the viewers to follow her on the HiPi app and show support to her team. One can score runs for their preferred team by uploading videos and taking up challenges using the #TeamName.

The HPL is a great initiative to engage the audience in showcasing their talents and creativity. The HPL has it perks. In the Indian Premiere League (IPL), as eight different teams represent eight different cities, HPL follows suit. It consists of teams Chennai Swaggers, Bangalore Badshahs, Delhi Dhoomers, Punjab Kings, Mumbai Mastis, Rajasthan Rockstars, Kolkata Khiladis and Hyderabad Hippers, with their respective captains heading each team.
