Mumbai is a Kannada action movie that recounts the story of two young lovers who are forced to flee to Mumbai in search of greener pastures. Mumbai movie plot: A tale of romance and gripping action

Mumbai is an action movie that revolves around the life of Krishna (the character played by Kannada actor Darling Krishna) who is a cashier in a bar. He falls in love with his neighbour (played by Teju) after initial quarrels and banter. While in Mumbai, Krishna falls into the hands of the underworld. The rest of the movie is all about his struggles with the underworld and how he saves Teju from its clutches.

The lead roles in this drama film are played by Darling Krishna as Krishna, Teju as Teju herself, while the other cast members include Ashish Vidyarthi, Rangayana Raghu, Bullet Prakash, Kote Prabhakar, and Kaddipudi Chandru. 

SR Ramesh Brothers of the “AK 47” movie fame directed Mumbai, and the credit for its production goes to Ramu Films. The credit for writing the script for this Kannada movie also goes to SR Ramesh Brothers, who are well-known for penning ultra-commercial cinema full of “masala”. The cinematography is handled by Ramesh Chabbenad, while the music contribution is from Sridhar Sambhram.
