Well, think again, because according to the UN, despite the rage of mobile phones and computers, the television set aces the criteria of the largest medium of visual consumption throughout the world.
According to a statistic report, the number of TVs to be brought as compared to 1.63 million in 2017, will rise to a whopping 1.74 billion by the year 2023. Isn’t that cool? For those of you who don’t know World Television Day was a way of acknowledging the first television Forum that was held by the UN General Assembly in the year 1996.
Another great thing is that since this day is observed globally, who professionals related to broadcast media including writers, journalists, actors, producers and others gather on this day worldwide in the interest of spreading awareness.
