But Promita Chakrabartty, who essays the role of Annada, is quite happy after getting married and has been painting the town red with photos on social media with her husband. Do you know who her husband is? It is none other than our very own Rudrajit Mukherjee who plays the role of Turno in the popular serial Jibon Saathi. The couple recently got married and they have been delighting their fans with cute and romantic pictures as a newlywed couple on their social media.

The love story
Rudrajit and Promita met on the sets of the popular Zee Bangla serial Saat Bhai Champa where they played an on-screen couple. Although Rudrajit realised his feelings for Promita quite early on, she did not feel the same way about Rudrajit. After his confession about his feelings, Promita told him that she did not feel the same way but she did know then that fate had other plans for them.

The dreamy wedding
The couple decided to tie the knot on the day of love, i.e., Valentine’s Day, this year. They had a registry marriage in February with their immediate families present to witness the union. The couple announced the news to their fans through social media. Promita posted a series of photos from the ceremony and wrote, “Dulha, Dulhan Raazi.” The couple looked stunning in their wedding outfits as they promised to spend the rest of their lives with each other. Promita chose a slightly different attire as compared to a normal Bengali bride and celebrated the day in a blush princess gown that dazzled with beautiful stones. Rudrajit chose a brown suit with a white shirt and he looked absolutely dapper in his outfit.

Rudrajit and Promita make for quite a romantic couple when it comes to spending time with each other. Their social media is filled with reels in which they can be seen dancing and romancing to their heart’s content.
