He took to his social media account and announced that his other cop universe film, Sooryavanshi will hit the silver screens during this Diwali. Sooryavanshi stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
In the movie, Akshay Kumar will play the role of Veer Sooryavanshi and Katrina Kaif will be seen as his wife. Apart from them, the film also stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. The two will play a cameo appearance in the Rohit Shetty directorial film. Right from the filmmaker to the actors, all are pulling their sleeves for the promotion of their much-anticipated film. On Thursday, the female lead Katrina Kaif and Rohit Shetty were spotted promoting their upcoming film. Katrina Kaif looked adorable in a traditional outfit while Rohit Shetty looked dapper in the classy formals. The paps present at the location were quick to capture the actress-filmmaker duo in their camera.
Talking more about their looks, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif donned a beautiful traditional outfit in which she looked absolutely gorgeous. She opted for a floral design print Lehenga that she teamed up with a red coloured full-sleeve blouse. Kat flaunted the same floral print dupatta as she was spotted for Sooryavanshi’s promotion. Katrina left her hair open and in the accessories she had earrings. Rohit Shetty kept it formal and looked dapper in a lined blazer with a royal blue shirt.
The shooting of Sooryavanshi began this year in Bangkok and later moved to Hyderabad and then to Mumbai. The film was slated to release earlier this year but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the film has got its release date in Diwali, it will leave no stone unturned to impress the audience.
