ZEE5 Originals’ crime web series titled MumBhai, starring Angad Bedi, Sikander Kher and Sandeepa Dhar in the lead roles, has created quite a buzz amongst netizens. More so, the gripping trailer of the show received a thumbs up from the audience. The trailer not only gives a glimpse of some power-packed intriguing sequences in the show but also takes us into the ruthless world of crime. Here are some reasons why MumBhai will definitely be a gripping watch. Read on to know more about the show.

1.In MumBhai, Angad Bedi is all set to play the role of a cop and encounter specialist Bhaskar Shetty. What’s more interesting about his avatar in the show is that he himself is puzzled into his own mission. At first, he tries to get to any lengths to clean up his city. However, in turn of events, he becomes stone-hearted and gets involved in the scam. With the change in his behaviour, it leaves us curious about his mission in the show. From working in a hotel in Bangalore to being a top encounter specialist in Mumbai, it doesn’t look peanuts to us!

2. It was just a few days ago when actor Sandeepa Dhar took to her Instagram and posted a photo with her MumBhai co-star, Angad Bedi. In it, she was seen pointing a gun towards Bedi. She wrote, “Yeh poori Mumbhai ka game bajata hai Lekin Iska Game sirf Vaishnavi baja sakti hai! P.S. Didn’t get to shoot a gun in the series so made up for it by posing with it for the pics.” With the caption, Sandeepa hinted at her camaraderie with Angad. We can guess that Sandeepa’s character is going to be a tough competition for Bhaskar in the show.

3. Sikander Kher is all set to play the role of a gangster in MumBhai. In the trailer, he dons a pair of contrasting sunglasses and teams it with a pair of a sassy shirt. Not to miss his heroic entry on the bike which in turn gives him the bossy look. What he does behind the bars makes his character even more quirky. We’re sure his murky business will do no good to him in the show.

4. What keeps us hooked to the trailer of the show is its electrifying sound effects and visuals. With every action sequence in the show, comes either a loud roar of pinch or a hot wave of fire. The effects speak volumes of the makers’ stalwart direction.

5. Overall, this new web series will describe how the city of Mumbai looked like in the 1980s and how crime, extortion, drugs, and underworld, ruled the city! It will be very interesting to watch who wins in the end, Bhasker’s plan or Sikander’s murky business. Moreover, what will Sandeepa’s character unfold in the end? Will she side with Bhaskar or side with Sikander? MumBhai is all set to release on November 6 on ZEE5.
