Match 10 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 saw heavyweights Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) up against defending champions, Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians (MI) on Monday evening (September 28) in Dubai. After a run-fest between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), both MI and RCB were also involved in another high-scoring affair. With MI needing 80 off the last 24 balls, the match went into the Super Over as RCB’s death-bowling continued to suffer. Opting to bowl first, Rohit-led MI didn’t find success with the ball.

From early on, as RCB openers, Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal looked in sublime form. The Aussie limited-overs captain came out with positive intent, took his chances, missed out on a few occasions but remained undeterred with his approach. He slammed his first IPL fifty for the Bengaluru franchise. While he departed soon after, skipper Virat Kohli came out to bat at no. 3. Kohli’s poor form continued as he looked uncomfortable throughout and handed an easy catch to his counterpart Rohit Sharma, at short covers, off Rahul Chahar.
