Shraddha Kapoor is an extremely talented actress and singer. Her movie Aashiqui 2 and its songs are still the favorites of all the lovebirds. Her work after that has just been getting better, and she has been giving back-to-back hit movies with tremendous stories. The beautiful actress enjoys a huge fan following for her work and her fashion statements. She has been on the FHM list of the world’s sexiest actresses and has been nominated and won many prestigious awards.
Shraddha is extremely spendthrift. As her Shakti, she earns two pennies and spends eight. When she’s overseas, he has to sit and explain currencies to her to prevent her from spending too much.
She also doesn’t like it if anybody behaves rudely with her. If she gets angry, she locks herself up in her room and avoids talking to anybody. She loves her brother a lot, and they haven’t had any fights growing up.
When Shraddha Kapoor was 16 years old, Salman Khan offered the film Lucky: No Time For Love. She was very excited about the offer as she had always wanted to be an actress. But she felt that she needed to focus on her studies and get into a good college. So, she refused the offer. She had already scored so badly in her 10th & 11th that she focused on scoring well in 12th. Her board was IB board, and she scored 32 out of 40, so she scored 80-90% in her 12th.
She had always wanted to be an actress, and her father is the reason for this. Whenever Shakti came home donning a mustache or some other look, she would get extremely curious about his job. She loved to see him on the screen playing various roles.
Shraddha was in her first year of college in Boston when she was back at her home during her holidays. The director of Teen Patti spotted her on Facebook and then called her for a look test. She went for the audition and got selected. She was so impatient to act in films that she dropped out of college. But to her disappointment, her first two films failed to make a mark.
When Shraddha’s first two films failed, she faced rejections and replacements in many movies. But she doesn’t regret her choices but considers them as her learning experience. She loves acting as a person gets to play different roles and tell other stories. Therefore, she tries to do a different part every time she appears on the screen. As the versatility of the role increases, she gets more in touch with herself. If it fails sometimes, it’s okay. Her initial failure has taught her how to deal with it. She’s pragmatic enough to know that not every movie can be a blockbuster, but she loves to be experimental with her work.
Shraddha Kapoor was offered the role of Saina Nehwal in the player’s biopic. She was excited about this role and even started preparing for it. But at the same time, Remo D’Souza came with the movie Street Dancer 3D. The dates of these projects were clashing. She felt she couldn’t tell Remo no as he had allowed her to work in ABCD 2. So, she walked out of the biopic.
After Aashiqui 2, Shraddha started having pain which had no explanation. She went for numerous tests, and nothing came out of it. It was then diagnosed that her issue is anxiety. Shraddha didn’t know anything about anxiety disorders at the time, and neither did she accept that she had this issue. She felt she had no reason to feel anxious. So. It took her a lot of time to accept it and then deal with it.
To deal with her anxiety disorder, she has changed her diet, balancing between junk & healthy food. She dances her heart out to stay fit and release her energy physically. She also makes sure that she gets enough sleep.
Shraddha Kapoor is an actress who claims to remain the same as a person essentially but has been evolving as an actress over the years with each film. Her performances have won her critical acclaim and many awards and popularity. She shows great promise with her memorable and impactful acting, and as her father said, she was born to be a superstar.
