Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa’ all set to release in cinemas on THIS date

While most Telugu films have been postponing release dates, it appears that the team behind Sukumar’s Pushpa is confident in their film. The makers have  decided to  release Pushpa in theatres on December 17th. The film has already become a  blockbuster before the release, breaking records with it’s music, poster and characters as fans wait  to see Allu Arjun on the big screen.

The first instalment of the film, Pushpa: The Rise, was meant to be released on December 25, but the directors revealed on Saturday that it will be released on December 17.

A two part blockbuster

Pushpa will be split into two parts, the first of which will be released in five major languages across the country soon. The film is currently in its last stages of production, with major scenes recently being shot near Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. Fahadh Faasil, a Malayalam actor, has been cast as the antagonist in the film. Pushpa’s first appearance and teaser received a lot of positive feedback.

Allu Arjun as a collie cum smuggler

In the film based on red sandalwood smuggling in Rayalaseema, Allu Arjun plays Pushpa Raj, a coolie-turned-smuggler. He will appear in two different avatars, one with a rustic appearance and the other with a polished one.

Rashmika Mandanna’s first look from the film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ was released few days back. As she gets ready in front of the mirror, the actress is seen seated on the ground with an intense expression. Rashmika will be working with actor Allu Arjun for the first time in this film. Her character’s name is “Srivalli,” and she wears a deglam avatar in the poster.

After the hits Arya and Arya 2, this is Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s third collaboration. Pushpa’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Fans are waiting for the film and so are we.
