Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been making headlines since the Income Tax (IT) Department had a survey at his offices in different places. They even surveyed his residence in Mumbai. Later the IT department has alleged that Sood has evaded taxes worth Rs. 20 crore. Soon after this Sonu Sood had put out a statement saying that every rupee in his foundation is waiting its turn to save a life and reach the needy.

The Income Tax department also claimed that Sood’s foundation collected over Rs. 18 crores till April this year out of which the only used Rs. 1.9 crore from it on relief work, while the rest remains unused. Sonu Sood decided to reply and had said that it would hardly take him any time to use the money to help the needy as he receives thousands of requests every day.

Sonu Sood had been a helping hand for the needy people during the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time many people lost their jobs and few even became homeless. Owing to humanity, Sonu Sood came to the forefront to offer his helping hands. He is also known for the philanthropic work he did. Sonu Sood even helped thousands of people reach their hometown and help with medical facilities and other necessities.
