Has The CBI Ruled Out Murder In Sushant´s Case?
According to sources, the agency is probing aiding and abetment to suicide as an angle as they have not found any evidence that Sushant was murdered
In a big development in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team has ruled out the murder theory of the late actor. According to sources, the agency is now treating the film star’s death as a suicide and probing the abetment to suicide angle.
In the First Investigation Report (FIR) filed by Sushant’s father, KK Singh, in Patna in July, the abetment of his son’s suicide by actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family was one of the main charges. Sources reveal that in the 12 days of their investigations, the CBI found no evidence of foul play in the Kedarnath actor’s death. The crime scene was recreated in his Bandra flat and forensics were re-examined by the authorities. No signs of struggle were found on Rajput’s body and there were no entry or exits to his apartment on the day of his death.
Rhea has already been questioned for 36 hours by the CBI till now, while her parents were grilled for 8 hours yesterday. Apart from Sushant’s staff, the interrogating team has also quizzed Chakraborty’s friend Suved Lohia and her manager Shruti Modi, while Goa hotelier Gaurav Arya was questioned by the ED for the second day yesterday. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested one person last night in connection to the drug angle in the case.
