Basu Chatterjee’s classic 1986 film Ek Ruka Hua Faisla is one of the very few experimental films ever made in Hindi cinema. Shot mostly indoors, the film revolved around a murder trial. Annu Kapoor played one of the twelve jury members who had to conclude the case.

Kapoor’s character of an angry old juror was appreciated by critics as well as the masses. This role remains to be one of his powerhouse performances ever.

The Shaukeens

The Shaukeens essayed the story of three men who decide to get over their mundane lifestyle. Their fun-filled journey from Delhi to Mauritius in the film turned out to be a laughter ride for the audience. Annu Kapoor played the role of KD and impressed everyone with his perfect comic timings.
