On December 24, 1956, Anil Kapoor was born. Surinder Kapoor, his father, was a filmmaker. Anil Kapoor, on the other hand, had to work hard in Bollywood to carve out a distinct identity. Raj Kapoor’s garage was where Anil Kapoor was working. In Umesh Mehra’s ‘Hamare Tumhare,’ he got his acting breakthrough. In the films ‘Hum Paanch’ and ‘Shakti,’ Anil played a minor part. For his film Mr. India, Anil received significant appreciation. The audience adored Anil and Sridevi’s pairing in this movie.

Shekhar Kapoor had proposed Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna the starring roles in Mr. India before Anil Kapoor. Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan both declined to appear in the film. Anil Kapoor was then offered a role in this film.
Kapoor has performed in over 100 films during his 40-year career as an actor and since 2005 as a producer. He has won various awards, notably two National Film Awards and six Filmfare Awards, for his leading performances in a number of famous, renowned, and legendary films.

Kapoor has also agreed to act in Karan Johar’s Takht, a period drama starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, and Vicky Kaushal that will be directed by Johar. He was recently seen in a digital series with Anurag Kashyap. He also starred alongside Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the film Malang.
