Ranaut was responding to Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s advice of not returning to Mumbai.

Kangana Ranaut has stirred up one more storm on Twitter by saying that Mumbai feels like Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The Bollywood actress was responding to a statement by Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut who had asked her to not come back to the city as she had said that she feared the city police force more than the ‘movie mafia.’ Ranaut wrote on her Twitter account, “Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?”

The whole furore had started after the actress had tweeted that in order to expose the ‘drug mafia’ in Bollywood, she would require security either from the Haryana Government or the Central Government, as she would not accept protection from the Mumbai Police. In this Twitter post, she had also tagged BJP MLA Ram Kadam, which was seen as a sign of her political leanings. “We kindly request her not to come to Mumbai. This is nothing but an insult to the Mumbai police. The Home Ministry should take action over it,” Raut had written in Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece, Saamana.
