83: Ranveer Singh’s Co-star Ammy Virk Spills The Beans On The Release Date!

After getting pushed twice, Kabir Khan’s upcoming film 83 featuring Ranveer Singh among many others seems to have a final release date.

There might have never been a film which has been eagerly awaited over a year and a half. But with the crazy times we are living in Kabir Khan directorial ’83 has been one such film. Initially the film was slated to be released on the 10th of April, 2020, later it was to be showcased on June 4 2021 but now according to Ammy Virk, the actor who essays Balvinder Singh Sandhu in the film – the film might have a December release.

While any actor who would reeling with anxiety if their film was having such an unpredictable fate, Ammy Virk on the other hand is completely assured of the work and the product. He shared his belief that the no matter when the film releases it is going to be good, so there isn’t any problem in the wait.

While speaking to SpotboyE, Ammy Virk said, “There has been a lot of hard work put in the film, the cast, Kabir as a director, Ranveer, the whole production team has given their best. All the 14 and the original players of the team during the World Cup, each and every person has given their time to this movie. Also, Balu Sir whose character I am playing has guided the team and has given all the coaching to the team so a lot of work in a positive way has been done. So, I hope that the release will also be done in a good way and that’s what we all are expecting and hoping for.”

When pushed to reveal the release date, Ammy let it slip that “it is going to be this Christmas other than that I don’t know anything!”

The film with the impressive starcast of Ranveer Singh, R Badree, Pankaj Tripathi, Ammy Virk, and Saahil Khattar, Saqib Saleem, with Deepika Padukone playing Kapil Dev’s wife in the film, there is no way the delay in release will affect the film. It is only building on the anticipation.
