Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Who Are The People Summoned By CBI?

Today (September 1) is the 12th day of CBI investigation in the case of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea Chakraborty’s mother Sandhya Chakraborty and father Indrajit Chakraborty are being questioned by the CBI for the first time. Both reached the CBI office in a Mumbai Police escort. Rhea Chakraborty can be called for a question and answer on the fifth consecutive day if needed. Today, Rajput’s houseworkers, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty may be questioned face to face. Meanwhile, the ED is questioning Gaurav Arya again.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating the matter after talking about drugs in Rhea Chakraborty and Gaurav Arya’s Whatsapp chats. The ED has also called Kunal Jani, another person in the case, for questioning. Jani’s name came up in Chakraborty’s text chat. The drugs angle is being investigated by the CBI along with ED and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Rajput’s flatmate Siddhart Pithani, cook Neeraj and helper Keshav are also being interrogated. The Director-General of NCB is also in Mumbai today.
