British singer-songwriter Edward Christopher Sheeran has tested positive for Covid-19. The singer of “Shape of You” took Instagram to convey this message that he has tested positive for coronavirus. He admits to isolating himself as well.

He wrote on teddys photos that hello guys, want to inform you all that I’ve unfortunately tested positive for Covid-19, thus I’m currently self-isolating and following government guidelines strictly.’ He continued, ‘It directly means that I won’t be able to continue with any in-person obligations for the time being, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances from home as possible. If I have disappointed anyone, then in that case please accept my apologies. Everyone stay safe.’

After the confirmation of the news that Sheeran is Covid positive, fans commenting and wishes him a quick recovery.
The sad news comes just days before the release of Sheeran’s fourth studio album, which will be out on October 29. He was also set to perform as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live on November 6, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Before Ed’s fourth album, ‘= (Equals),’ the singer released two tracks Bad Habits and Shivers. Both charted on the Billboard Hot 100 shortly after their release. ‘Shivers’ reached No. 10 on the charts, while ‘Bad Habits’ reached No. 2.
