Nia Sharma is one of the bold actresses in the entertainment industry. She openly keeps her point and opinion on the issues. Nia Sharma opened up about the level of caustic hate she receives, the strange concept of fake international awards. She also talked about the comments online that bought her so much backlash. Nia Sharma went on to add her not-so-good experience about a meeting she had for a role in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Nia Sharma called it a stupid conversation and a waste of her time.
When Nia was been asked if she had met any big Bollywood director or producer, Nia Sharma said that she does not want to walk into a film director or producer’s office and be underestimated because she comes from the television industry. While speaking to radio host Siddharth Kannan, Nia said that she attended a meeting for a bit part in Manikarnika. It was a stupid conversation and she didn’t go again for a further one. It was not a worthwhile conversation, rather it was a wastage of time. “And then he was like, you look so hot. I was like, seriously?”, said Nia.
She continued to say that someone dares to tell her that she is not ready for Bollywood, and look at a Bollywood star kid, are they ready? She said that no one should tell her that she is not ready for the venture. We all know who those people are they’re getting good movies, but take the name aside, will you look twice at them? she went on to ask.
Kangana Ranaut played a lead role in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She played the role of Rani Laxmibai in the movie. Along with acting, she had also directed the film with Krish. She claimed that she took over after he abandoned the film and reshot most of it. He, however, denied the allegations and accused her of hijacking his project.
Talking about Nia Sharma’s work front, she made her digital debut with Vikram Bhatt’s web series Twisted. The series also starred Rahul Sudhir and Namit Khanna. Earlier this year, she reunited with Ravi in the second season of Jamai Raja, Jamai 2.0, a digital spin-off of their popular show.
