Zee5’s upcoming web series Break Point is said to be the real-life documentation of events that took place between India’s tennis aces Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi

On Friday 17th of September, Zee5 released the trailer of its much-awaited web series of 2021 viz. Break Point. Since then, the trailer has gained more than a million views, with fans reacting to the trailer on various social media platforms. The web series is based on relations between Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupati. Unlike any other web series, Break Point is set to reveal the biggest and the darkest reasons behind the split between the duo.

Breaking the trailer of Break Point

The trailer starts with Paes and Bhupathi discussing their side of the side over why their on-the-court bromance fell apart off the court. Then comes various appreciation about the remarkable history of India’s greatest ever men double in Tennis.

The most remarkable remarks come from Sania Mirza, who mentioned how Paes and Bhupathi were heroes for India’s emerging Tennis players.

As the trailer starts catching pace, allegations, and accusations from both the legends against each other start getting more and more intense, with both blaming each other for the breakup of their successful partnership. The background music, the cameo from various stars of the tennis world, and intense shots of Paes and Bhupathi are the reason behind the trailer being a nail-biting experience.

The web series is set to premiere on the 1st of October this year exclusively on Zee5. As for many fans out there, the date is not too far and that’s what keeps their patience level still high.

Nicknamed ‘Indian Express’, Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes were the most celebrated doubles in the history of Indian Tennis. Paes and Bhupathi won three grand slams together, including Wimbledon 1999. However, multiple rifts between the two tore apart the duo partner first in 2006 and then finally in 2011.
