Kamal Haasan, the president of Makkal Needhi Maiam and an actor, announced on Monday that he had tested positive with COVID-19 and had been hospitalised to a hospital.

“Following my return from the United States, I developed a minor cough. The coronavirus infection was confirmed when I tested. In the hospital, I’ve isolated myself. The COVID-19 spread has not faded, therefore everyone should be cautious “Kamal sent out a tweet.
