Samsung has recently started bringing a lot of innovation to its products, especially smartphones. After launching multiple foldable phones, with one hinge, Samsung is soon going to launch a foldable phone with three hinges, meaning, it can be folded twice. Read on to know more about it.

In February 2019, Samsung came up with a foldable smartphone, which is in its Galaxy series, named Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. As of today, Galaxy Z Fold is priced at nearly Rs 1.2 lakhs in India and comes with 12 GB RAM. Later, the company also launched Galaxy Z Fold 2, which is priced at nearly Rs 1.5 lakhs in India. While these two phones are foldable in a horizontal manner, with a vertical hinge, Samsung has also launched a phone that is vertically foldable – like the old flip phones – Galaxy Z Flip, which is priced at approx Rs 85000 in India.

After bringing these variations in the touchscreen smartphones, Samsung is now going to launch a smartphone that can be folded twice! Reportedly, the phone will be launched as early as the end of this year. This foldable phone with two hinges will mark the third lineup of Samsung, after Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip.

The design for this new phone is yet to be finalized. However, sources say that the screen of this phone could have an aspect ratio of 16:9 or 18:9. This could make it easier for the application developers to make apps, which is tougher for the 25:9 ratio in the Galaxy Z Fold series phones.
