Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) has always been a strong independent woman. She is not only headstrong but also has the physical strength that many people claim women lack. In the recent episodes of Teri Meri Ikk Jindri, we saw Mahi getting married to Jogi without her consent and that leading to her dislike for him. Meanwhile, when her best friend Priya gives her some much needed moral support, she breaks down a little. But she also points out that she dealt with everything like a true Punjabi kudi, and we couldn’t agree more with her. To elaborate on the same, here are some instances when Mahi displayed the true strength of a Punjabi kudi.
Check out what’s happening on Teri Meri Ikk Jindri right here:
Kidnapping Mahi? Not Happening!
Recently, Tillu tried to kidnap Mahi to stop her from going back to Jogi’s house. This would’ve also meant that Pappu’s plan to get Jogi arrested would’ve succeeded. But unfortunately for Tillu, Mahi was in full Kali Ma mode and she beats the hell out of him. She thrashed him continuously, letting all her anger out, and instead of running away from her kidnapper, made him run away from her.
Strength With Brains
Mahi is an incredible combination of beauty, brains and strength. And that’s exactly what she displayed when Chanda kidnapped her. In her desperate attempt to get married to Arjun, Chanda trapped Mahi inside a large bag. Although initially, she thought she couldn’t do anything to escape, Mahi eventually used her brains, broke the zipper and came out of the bag.
It’s pretty common for a hero to save his heroine, but we especially love it when it’s the other way around. Remember when Jogi went to get tamarind for Mahi and he ended up being caught by some goons? We loved how Mahi jumped in like some badass heroine and saved Jogi by beating up the goons all by herself.
Taught Gulshan A Lesson
Men like Gulshan think, ‘what would a girl do?’. Well, Mahi gave him a befitting reply. Not only did Jogi-Mahi, foil his plan of blackmailing Priya, but they also thrashed him for being such a pervert. In fact, when Jogi and Pankaj weren’t paying attention, Gulshan slyly tried to attack them. And unlike the typical heroine, Mahi didn’t scream for help but smacked him across the face with a traffic sign.
It’s not just fighting with goons that requires strength, sometimes pickup up your bail-buddhi husband also requires you to be equally strong. Now, when Jogi is faking his injury, we saw Mahi pick up her dear husband and take him to bed. Well, picking up someone of Jogi’s size surely requires the strength that only a true Punjabi kudi will have.
