The title of the Commander has been granted to the actor Daniel Craig by the Royal Navy of England. The Military status of Commander ranks seventh in the hierarchy of the Royal Navy

The name is Bond. James Bond. Well, in reality the name is something like Commander James Bond CMG RNVR. The Commander because he is a member of the Royal Navy. The CMG RNVR because he is a member of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George. No one can blame us for not remembering all that as the world famous British secret agent working for M16 is even more well known as code name 007. And now the actor who plays James Bond in the latest rendition in the movies, Daniel Craig is also Commander, albeit an honorary one.

The Title

The title of the Commander has been granted to the actor Daniel Craig  by the Royal Navy of England. The Military status of Commander ranks seventh in the hierarchy of the Royal Navy. And the aim of granting such an honorary title to the actor is so that the actor can act as an ambassador of the Royal Navy and spread the message about the work and capabilities of the Royal Navy to the world.

The newest installment of the movie of the James Bond franchise will not only show the modern day exploits of the secret agent, but it will also showcase the real fire power of the Royal Navy whose latest gadgets make a guest appearance on the show.

The Real Commander

James Bond, the fictional character first created in 1053 by Ian Fleming is a Royal Navy Commander who served the British Forces during world war 2. It is after the end of world war that he decides to take up the position of a secret service agent to combat the enemy from the shadows. Even in the 21st century reboot of the series featuring Daniel Craig, Bond still serves in the Royal Navy albeit in the Gulf Wars.

Following a six-year gap, “No Time to Die” is the 25th James Bond film. The film “Spectre,” which came out in 2015, was the final instalment in the James Bond franchise. The six-year wait is finally over, and we can’t wait to witness James Bond’s magic unfold once more.
