Krishna warns Pintu not to interfere in her personal matters. Vidyapati tells Krishna that Tuntunji has offered to pay for Swati's wedding if he can finalise Pintu's marriage with the Raybahadurs. He finalises the wedding the very next day. He takes Krishna to the coaching centre and gets a call from Tuntunji. Tuntunji forces him to eat sweets and insults him. He says that Raybahadur wants Pintu to be a domesticated son-in-law and it is Vidyapati's fault. He refuses to pay for Swati's wedding.
