Happy Bhag Jayegi is a 2016 romantic comedy, starring Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill and Ali Fazal. On the day of her marriage to Bagga, a businessman, Harpreet Happy Kaur elopes with her boyfriend, Guddu. She ends up in a truck heading to Lahore where she meets Bilal, an upcoming politician. An angry Bagga abducts Guddu and reaches Lahore in search of Happy. What ensues is a hilarious cat and mouse chase.
