Olmo&#8217;s movement between the lines created pockets that Spain exploited repeatedly. And Yamal \u2014 already the most exciting eighteen-year-old in world football \u2014 was the spark at the centre of it all.<\/p>\n<p>He drew the penalty that opened the scoring, wedging his body ahead of Lucas Digne to win contact that could not be ignored. He had a goal of his own ruled out for offside \u2014 a finish that, in another moment, would have been the defining image of his semi-final. It did not matter. The impact was already there: direct, fearless, constantly moving, consistently better than whoever France put him up against.<\/p>\n<p>This right flank did not just contribute to two goals. It set the tone.
