Brazil <\/a>came to Philadelphia with something to prove. A draw against Morocco in their opener had left the five-time champions with an unfinished feeling \u2014 a sense that they weren\u2019t able to play their game.<\/p>\n

Three goals, all before half-time. A performance that only grew in confidence as the minutes passed. Brazil are top of Group C and, for now, looking exactly like themselves.<\/p>\n

A Fast Start, Then Faster<\/b><\/h2>\n

The first sign of intent came in the 12th minute. Raphinha latched onto a long ball and slotted it past Johny Placide \u2014 only for the linesman\u2019s flag to cut the celebration short. Offside. No goal. But the message was unmistakable: Brazil were in no mood to let this one drift.<\/p>\n

Eleven minutes later, the breakthrough came for real. Vin\u00edcius J\u00fanior cut inside from the left and dragged a low shot that Placide pushed away \u2014 but Matheus Cunha was first to react, sliding in to poke the rebound home. Brazil took the lead.<\/p>\n

The second goal was an absolute stunner. In the 36th minute, Vin\u00edcius picked out Cunha with a precise through ball, and Cunha made the most of every yard of space available \u2014 breaking into the box before lashing a left-footed strike into the top corner.<\/p>\n

Paquet\u00e1 Adds the Masterclass<\/b><\/h2>\n

Then, just before the whistle, something extraordinary.<\/p>\n

Lucas Paquet\u00e1 spotted Haiti\u2019s defensive line pushed dangerously high and responded with a delicate chip over the top. Vin\u00edcius timed his run perfectly, beating the offside trap, rounded the onrushing Placide, and coolly slid the ball into an empty net. Three goals. First half done.<\/p>\n

There was one shadow over Brazil\u2019s evening. Raphinha \u2014 who would have had a goal to his name had the linesman kept his flag down \u2014 hobbled off in the 40th minute with a hamstring injury and was replaced by the young forward Rayan. The extent of the damage was unclear at full time.<\/p>\n

Enter Endrick<\/b><\/h2>\n

Haiti <\/a>made a double substitution at the interval, bringing on Dominique Simon and Wilson Isidor to add bodies in midfield, and the adjustment worked to a degree \u2014 the second half was far quieter than the first.<\/p>\n

In the 63rd minute, the 18-year-old Endrick, alongside Gabriel Martinelli, came on to the pitch, replacing Cunha and Paquet\u00e1. He nearly marked the occasion immediately \u2014 a 74th-minute strike that had Brazilian supporters on their feet \u2014 before a tight offside call ruled it out. His World Cup account remains unopened. But he looked ready for it.<\/p>\n

Alisson\u2019s Late Show<\/b><\/h2>\n

With the game long settled, Brazil were conserving energy. Haiti were not. In the 86th minute, Isidor cut in from the left flank and fired a sharp diagonal shot \u2014 only for Alisson Becker to shift quickly to his near post and parry it clear.<\/p>\n

Four minutes into stoppage time came the best chance Haiti created all night. Dominique Simon, collecting possession after a cleared Brazilian free kick, pulled back and let fly with a curling, dipping effort from outside the box that had real quality behind it. Alisson read it late, threw himself full-length and tipped it over the bar. World-class goalkeeping \u2014 the kind that rarely gets the credit it deserves in a comfortable win.<\/p>\n

Martinelli fizzed a dangerous cross into the six-yard box in the final moments, but \u00c9derson arrived a fraction too late and skewed it wide. The match ended 3\u20130. On another night, it could have been five.<\/p>\n

Group C After Matchday 2<\/b><\/h2>\n

Brazil climb to the top of Group C, the draw against Morocco followed by this commanding win putting them on four points. Morocco, also on four points, sit alongside them on goal difference. Scotland and Haiti face a desperate Matchday 3.<\/p>\n

Brazil\u2019s final group game is against Scotland in Miami on June 25 (3:30 AM IST). On paper it should be straightforward \u2014 but Scotland have nothing to lose and everything to play for. Haiti face Morocco at the Atlanta Stadium at the same time.<\/p>\n

For Brazil, this felt like the performance they owed themselves. Three goals. A clean sheet. And the kind of football that reminds you why this squad carries the weight of expectation it does.<\/p>\n
