In the 15th minute, Denis Zakaria arrived onto a Remo Freuler pass and drove low \u2014 Luca Zidane, Algeria&#8217;s goalkeeper, got down to his right to push it away. In the 15th minute, shortly after his assist, Johan Manzambi went down with an injury that delayed the match briefly. Lose Manzambi, and they lose their most dangerous creative outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Algeria&#8217;s Cha\u00efbi picked up a yellow card in the 35th minute for a foul on Manzambi \u2014 a booking that adds another layer of pressure on him in the second period. Zakaria&#8217;s header from a Rub\u00e9n Vargas cross in the 36th minute sailed narrowly high; Ricardo Rodr\u00edguez tried his luck from distance in the 24th and missed the target.<\/p>\n<p>Algeria had the last attempt of the half. Deep into stoppage time, Ibrahim Maza \u2014 who has been lively throughout \u2014 arrived centrally and drove a left-footed shot wide.
