Cape Verde joins them from second place. Belgium finished as Group G winners \u2014 a dominant 5-1 result against New Zealand confirmed it in style. Senegal&#8217;s 5-0 win moves them up to third place. They are a strong contender to qualify as the third-placed team. They have 3 points and have a positive goal difference of 2. This is all because of their strong result against Iraq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iran also sits on three points with a goal difference of zero after their 1-1 draw. They had a penalty saved, a goal ruled out by VAR in the 93rd minute, and hit the woodwork twice.
