Played by Kamalika Guha Thakurta, Kaminidevi is Anika’s Naani and Urmila’s mother. When she found out the boy Urmila liked was in love with Gauri and also had a kid with her, she sent her men to kill them both. Meaning she tried to kill Gauri and Saru. Yet, somehow, they both survived. Played by Swat Chitnis, Annapurna is an old woman from a rich family who is desperately waiting for her long-lost granddaughter to return. Despite Kamini saying that they’re dead, Annapurna believes that her granddaughter will come and find her one day. She has also met Saru and is reminded of her granddaughter when she looks at the young girl.
