NIA Raids Several Locations In Baramulla To Investigate Suspended DSP Davinder Singh Case
Davinder Singh who was arrested in January was found accused of terror funding and also used to help terrorists enter India.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday, September 22 raided several locations in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. These raids were carried out in connection with suspended Jammu and Kashmir DSP (Deputy Superintendent) Davinder Singh who was arrested on January 11, and Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Naveed Babu. Davinder Singh was found accused of aiding and helping terrorists to enter India. The NIA conducted these raids after finding connections of the accused with some terror funding. According to the sources, the NIA teams were accompanied by the paramilitary forces and Jammu and Kashmir Police. Further, the investigating authorities also raided the house of Ghulam Rasool Waza at Palhallan.
News reports state that the main objective of these raids is to find out if there are any links between arrested DSP Davinder Singh who has been involved in terror funding and other terrorists.
