Heavy Rainfall cause damages in Junagarh and Rajkot regions of Gujarat, including the collapse of a bridge which has led to problems with traffic.
The monsoon season has begun damaging property in Gujarat. Recently, it was reported that due to heavy rains, a newly-built bridge collapsed in Junagadh district of Gujarat. The falling of the bridge has lead to a lot of transportation problems for the people. Locals claim that they had complained about the bad condition of the bridge. Despite repeated complaints, the authorities did not take any measures to repair the bridge, which ultimately caused this unfortunate disaster and disturbance to traffic.
The destruction caused by heavy rainfall do not stop here. The region of Rajkot is also severely affected by the rains. One of the cricket stadiums in Rajkot turned into a pond due to continuous downfall. The monsoon season has just begun and it has already started damaging the infrastructure in several parts of Gujarat.
