He allegedly blamed the Association while visiting an event in front of Chiranjeevi, which did not go well with the Megastar. This led to him submitting his resignation to the MAA. However, both the actors have denied having any problems between them, and Chiranjeevi has cited his schedule as the reason for the resignation.
He was once alleged to have destroyed the career of Uday Kiran, who called off his engagement with Chiranjeevi's eldest daughter Sushmitha. There have also been accusations of instigating Uday Kiran for his suicide in 2014.
Another case where Chiranjeevi was under media attention was when his daughter Sreeja's ex-husband Sirish sent a court notice against his daughter. He alleged that she was depriving his rights to meet their biological daughter Nivruthi. Furthermore, Sirish demands the court to allow him to take his daughter permanently to his house as Sreeja has already been married again.
Megastar was also once accused by many organizations for his Blood band and Eye bank, which operated under this Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust. In response, the AP government formed a high-level committee to investigate the various aspects of the trust. But Megastar was given a clean chit for any such allegations.
