The date of release of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer 83 is highly approaching. The audience is all excited to know the entire story of the well admired Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev. Well, 83 is a cricket biopic film on the real-life story of cricketer Kapil Dev directed by Kabir Khan. Ahead of the release of the film on December 24, Ranveer Singh is sharing a few anecdotes shared the real cricketers that are also a part of the film.

In this new video, cricketer K Srikkanth can be seen sharing a comic banter about then captain Kapil Dev. In the video, the cricketer said that they won the world cup because of one man that is no other than Kapil Dev. He recalled a memory of the time of the world cup match against the West Indies. K Srikkanth uttered how calm and composed Kapil was compared to the other captains and authorities.

In the end, K Srikkanth also said that Kapil Dev made them with the match with his tactics and planning. All the success that came to the nation during the world cup match was only because of Kapil Dev. Further, he mentioned that 83 is releasing in cinema halls on December 24, 2021. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages worldwide. Speaking more of the film, this is for the first time that Bollywood’s power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is going to share the screen space together. The film becomes special as they are going to do it for the first time after getting married. Deepika will essay the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi in the film.
